Youth Education programming begins soon! All neighborhood kids 4-15 are encouraged to join us!

Starting Friday June 22nd we will host gardening classes for neighborhood youth. Class will be held every Friday from 9AM-12PM! From 9-10:15 we will host the younger kids, ages 4-10, and from 10:45-12 we will host kids ages 11-15. Saturdays from 11am-noon, we are also offering a community yoga class for adults and kids of any age. A $5 donation is suggested to cover our programming costs, however no kids will be turned away for lack of funds. If you or someone you know has a child between 4-15 who would benefit from being outside this Summer with other kids, getting their hands in the dirt, learning about the earth, learning how to grow, cook and share food together, we invite you to join us! The youth education garden is located on NE 9th and Alberta, behind the convenience store. The UFC youth garden promises to provide fun for the whole family and is a great excuse to be outside, spending some quality time with your neighbors.
