The planning team is the governing and administrative body of the collective. Each role has been developed to insure the long-term sustainability of the project by being ‘volunteer-size’ roles. In other words, each role should require a few hours per week. This insures that we can remain, as much as possible, outside the market economy. We meet on the first Monday of each month at 6pm and we are a democracy; majority rules.
If you share our values and want to help us with our mission to exit the market economy and bring people together around growing and sharing food, land, water and resources, contact us today. The job of the planning team is to insure that our gardeners have everything that they need to be successful in the gardens; a team of working members and apprentices, community support, information and communication systems, greenhouse and compost infrastructure and funding. We are also working on creating a pathway for other neighborhoods that would like to start collectives in their own neighborhoods.
Check out the administrative volunteer opportunities and contact us today if you are interested in joining us!
