Hey all-

We have a big work party coming up this Saturday, April 29th, starting at noon, at our Fertility Garden on NE Garfield and Failing (behind Nedd Ludd restaurant). We will work until the work is done, re-covering and repairing the greenhouse, leveling the floor so it is wheelchair accessible, tending to the chicken coupe, weeding and tending the garden beds...SO MUCH TO DO! We'd love all the help we can get! So, if you have any time to give this coming Saturday, please join us! We'll be having a big "thank you" party after with free food and beverages! All are welcome! Please bring gloves and water!
Thank you in advance and we hope to see your shining faces there!ūüėĀ

Share Land

Land Share Agreement

If you have land that you would like to see converted into a neighborhood food garden, consider sharing it with the collective! We are actively seeking land. The benefits of sharing your land are many. First, you may qualify for a property tax exemption. Second,  you will no longer incur the costs of  maintaining your land. We take full responsibility for the installation and up-keep of the garden. Third, you will receive enough produce barter shares to shop at our market all summer (June 1st-Oct 31st) for your  local, organic fruits and veggies. Lastly, you would be an integral part of our mission to bring neighbors together, build community, provide educational opportunities and improve urban food security. We carry liability insurance for your protection, although we are happy to report that no one has ever been hurt in a UFC garden. Email urbanfarmcollective@gmail.com today to share your land with the community.

We borrow land on a season by season basis. However, if you fervently share our values and support our mission, we can assist you with entrusting your land to insure that it is not developed in the future and is used for the purposes of education and research in sustainable agriculture in perpetuity through the Oregon Sustainable Agriculture Land Trust.

Minimum Requirements: We accept land that is a minimum of 1,500 square feet, has a minimum of 7 hours of sun exposure every day and access to a water supply.

Thanks for considering it!!
